About Jackrabbit Ranch

Hey there! We’re Haley and Daniel. In 2022, we took the plunge and invested in 30 acres of raw, untouched land—no infrastructure, no experience, just a big dream and a whole lot of determination. We had no idea what we were getting into, but that didn’t stop us.

From figuring out how to raise goats to learning the ins and outs of building a house from the ground up, we embraced every challenge with a “learn as we go” mindset. There were plenty of mistakes, long days, and moments of doubt, but somehow, we kept pushing forward—and we’ve ended up accomplishing more than we ever imagined.

Today, that once-empty piece of land is now Jackrabbit Ranch, a fully operational ranch where we raise goats, train livestock guardian dogs, and contribute to wildfire mitigation efforts. It’s been a wild ride, and we’re just getting started!
